Top CD Player mit sehr feiner Verarbeitung und schönem Klangbild. Satte 10kg schwer, ist er auch als reines CD-Laufwerk gut zu nutzen. Edle Anmutung mit Klappe auf der Front, hinter der sich weniger häufig benutzte Bedienelemente befinden. Regelbarer Kopfhörerausgang. Digitalausgänge in Cinch/coax 75 Ohm & optischer TosLink vorhanden. Auch der Klang läßt wenig Wünsche offen: Sehr gute Basswiedergabe, räumlich, detailreich und nicht "digital" klingend reichen weit in die (nicht nur) damalige Spitzenklasse hinein. Gern genutztes Arbeitsgerät von uns. Fernbedienung Yamaha VQ 95010 mit ein paar Funktionen mehr als die originale.

The elder statesman DAC still holds up well compared to a number of newer DACs. Look up the stats on this bad boy and you will see why it holds value so well. This was the top of the line Yamaha before the 1xxx series died out and gave way to the cost-cutting models of the later 90s. Highly recommended."
