Studio Laufwerk aus den Ende 60er/Anfang 70er Jahren. Das größte Sony Laufwerk mit Riemenantrieb. Quasi das japanische Gegenstück zum Thorens TD 125. Schwerer, servogesteuerter Gleichstrom-Motor. Als reines Einbaulaufwerk oder mit Teak 12" Zarge Sony TAC 3 mit Feder-/Gummi Entkopplung. Tonarmbretter mit 12'' Bohrung für SME oder Sony PUA-286. Technik:

The TTS3000 employs a slow speed servo-controlled motor to drive the platter.

The use of a slow speed (300rpm) motor eliminates much of the noise and rumble that originates in mechanical speed-reducing systems.

This unique servo system effectively compares motor speed with a very stable frequency reference.

Any error in motor speed results in a correction in the current supplied to the motor.

The speed reference is entirely independent of outside influence and line frequency is only used to power the strobe light.
