"I bought one of these over 2 years ago... I have to say this is a fantastic Turntable! It plays beautifully and looks as good or better than it plays. I have it in my office as I have a Project Debut Pro on my main system. Considering the Kenwood/Trio cost about 10% of my good table it likely sounds 75% as good! I doubt I would ever sell this table. It is a keeper!"

"At first glance yet another Pioneer PL12D clone, the KP-2022A is full of interesting quirks. Starting at the tonearm; instead of the usual chromed pipe you have a tapered casting of aluminium alloy, an unusual slide/lock mechanism which will nevertheless take any SME-fit headshell, and at the other end a counterweight which can be moved to balance the arm following which a rotary dial moves the whole stub inwards to set the tracking force, it all works fine. Everything inside and out has a really well-made, well-engineered look about it. Lots of wood and metal and reassuringly little plastic! Performance-wise it's firmly in PL12D territory, possibly a little bit better. Good heavy platter, the speeds are spot-on."
