"...a "silk" tweeter, LF/MF driver, equipped with phase corrector. The speakers are shielded. The body is solidly made. Each bass reflex port is equipped with airflow divider. A separate band switching is provided.
Sound color of 3020 is quite neutral. A sense of airiness, transparency of musical images, three-dimensional panorama is firstly conditioned by a good quality of transmission of high frequencies. In a way here is a classical mini-monitor before us. The sound keeps the transparency in all its frequency aspects up to a certain volume level; above this level the atmosphere begins to deepen in the middle and basses.
Dynamic range at frequency decreasing becomes more modest. Despite of low-frequency rise of AFC, there is no unhealthy splendor in the bass - upper bass is well built, even it is a bit dry. Except that at the high volume level a weak coloration becomes noticeable in the bottom.
Gale 3020 is a good variant of a "personal" mini-monitor."
