This is an impressive Japanese-made tuner for which little information can be found on the internet. Strong signal immunity is excellent, far better than the average tuner of this vintage. It is very easy to use. On weak signals, the tuner detects noise and engages the Hi Blend function. The ability to switch between two antennas (although for anybody other than FM DX enthusiasts such a feature might be superfluous) is a real benefit. The absence of a rotary tuning dial is offset by the direct frequency display. This tuner will also scroll between 30 presets (consecutively providing about 5 seconds of audio per preset) is another feature that suits DX enthusiasts and not particularly common. This is a highly recommended product with exceptional build quality, at least as good as Sony or Yamaha. Everything is metal, including the buttons which means there is not that problem of cheap plastic wearing down or becoming discolored over time.
